1. Every CEO has a story behind their preferred drink—what’s your go-to drink, and why does it resonate with you?
Oscar L: “My drink that settles in for me honestly is glow water products mixed with either tequila reposado, preferably, or Hennessy.”
2. As a CEO managing a fast-paced business, how do you maintain a sense of balance between your professional responsibilities and personal life, especially while navigating the demands of the entertainment industry?
Oscar L: “In regards to professional and personal alignment, my wife is a very strong aspect that keeps the balance so in tune these days. I used to have issues with this at times before having her, but that doesn’t exist to me at all now because of my extreme love for her and our pristine and romance-filled marriage principles. This is all I know and ever want to know because my wife is with me in almost every meeting, business and personal. My success rate in all avenues is better because I have her. 3. Is there a particular drink you associate with one of your biggest milestones or moments of success in the music industry?
Oscar L: “My milestone drink of choice is a sidecar. I’ve loved this drink for some time since my wife introduced it to my repertoire of drink choices. This one went straight to number one right above tequila reposado Lemon drops.”
4. You’ve collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry. How do you approach building and maintaining relationships with such influential figures?
Oscar L: “First of all, it’s in my blood. My aunt is the late great Ella Fitzgerald, and I watched my father build his whole career as he thrived, which in turn allowed me the opportunity to grow with some of the biggest stars in all entertainment genres. I’m extremely connected in that world. If you don’t know me, I’m sure you’ve heard of me. I’ve helped many careers and been a part of many dynasties, and now it’s my turn. My current artist, who I’ve had the pleasure to be very involved with in his ability to show the world himself as a full musician with all the amenities, is Zavi, who on social media is @AspectZavi_. He is definitely the future of this performance, culture, and authenticity movement. This young man is that great. Remember I said it. He’s the young leader of OzoneWrld, and he’s coming to spread love, great music, and more.”
5. As you look at your journey from adversity to success, if you had to toast one of your proudest moments?
Oscar L: “One of my proudest moments is knowing for 20 years that I would get the woman that fills my soul, and I knew who she was. Now she is my wife and about to have my kids. That’s literally everything and my most proud moment. Me having my amazing wife to do life with—she’s just an unbelievably love-filled, sweet-natured, gorgeous unicorn of a woman.
